What is IELTS?

IELTS, or the International English Language Testing System, is an English language proficiency test that is accepted by organizations, universities, and governments around the world. What is PTE?

The PTE Language Test is a high–stakes international English language proficiency test developed by Pearson Language Tests. It is designed to assess a candidate‘s ability to communicate effectively in English across all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. The test is adaptive, so the difficulty of the questions presented to the candidate changes depending on their performance. The test is taken online and consists of three sections: Speaking & Writing, Reading and Listening. An overall score is calculated based on the candidate’s performance in each section, and they are also given scores for each individual skill.
